Understanding Government exists mostly there was no good place that explained economics, politics, government, and everything else that surrounds it in a way that actually makes sense. You can read more about this in the introductory post.
Who’s behind this?
This website is written by the Denver, CO version of Josh Wilson.
What makes him think that he has all the answers to this stuff?
He doesn’t. But he does think that he has some of them. Sometimes he’s wrong.
Is this all that Josh Wilson does?
Nope. He does lots of stuff – he works as a video editor, owns a marketing company called Red Fridge Media, writes music, and a host of other things. You can find out more at his personal site: JoshWilson.org

Yup. But politics can get controversial, so it’s better for it to live on it’s own site.
I posted a comment, but it hasn’t shown up. What gives?
Be patient. Comments on this website are moderated. As we mentioned, people get angry about this political stuff a lot, so for the sake of the kids there’s a buffer between the comment button and the rest of the world. That doesn’t mean you can’t post an opinion, only that it needs to be civil. Comments that aren’t get deleted or edited.
